Savuti Accommodation

Savuti boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife left on the African continent. Animals are present during all seasons, and at certain times of the year their numbers can be staggering. If you allow yourself adequate time here (a minimum of three to four days is recommended) you will probably see nearly all the major species: giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyaena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog.

Savuti is famous for its predators, particularly its resident lions and spotted hyaena populations. Sometimes you will have them excitingly close, as both they and marauding hyaenas do wander through the camps.

Whatever kind of holiday you're looking for, our selection of Savuti accommodation will have something to suit your tastes. Please feel free to browse the below selection of lodges and send through your enquiries for a free no obligation quotation.

Savuti Camp

Savuti Camp lies on the Savute Channel, a famous waterway in a thrilling state of flux. For a quarter of a century, the Channel was dry, creating wide-open grassland, home to both quantities and varieties of wildlife and a legendary predator's enclave. In 2008, the waters returned, and Savuti Camp now has front-row seats to view the abundant game that has congregated and adapted in its wake.

Savuti Safari Lodge

It is on the banks of Botswana’s fabled Stolen River, that you will find Savute Safari Lodge in a setting of singular beauty. The now dry Savute channel is part of the dynamic Savute eco system renowned for its large concentration of elephant and lion and their troubled relationship.
Savute’s signature expansive glass sliding doors and viewing decks were inspired by the striking panorama, whether seen in the dry season when it can appear desert-like and barren beyond belief or after the rain on one of those crystal clear days across the vivid green of new grass, the impression is always the same.  Savute Safari Lodge accommodates only 24 guests in local timber and glass chalets with cool thatching, beautifully furnished in fresh colors. All chalets have private decks, a combined bedroom / lounge area and en-suite facilities, which sets the lodge apart from typical safari accommodation.
